Ways to Get Involved with
Trips for Kids Ottawa
TFKO takes students on after-school rides from May to June
and September to November, weather permitting.
In winter, we embrace the outdoors through skating and snowshoeing adventures.
In 2025, we skated at lunch hour every day of the week, as well as after school once per week.
We need volunteers not only to ride and skate, but also to maintain bicycles and repair gear, buy & prepare food, help with administrative tasks, and so much more! With the exception of our Program Manager and her part-time assistant, we are entirely volunteer run.
Whether you can offer one hour a month or five hours a week, we would appreciate your help!
