A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Grant Providers.
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Resilient Community Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The grant will be used to recover, build capacity, and enhance our sustainability, positively impacting our efforts in the communities we serve.
We are grateful to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for its generous support. Together, we're building a more resilient and vibrant community.
We are excited to share that Trips for Kids Ottawa has been honoured with two grants from Jumpstart - an Operational Support grant and a Programming Support grant.
With the Operational Support grant, we will fund first aid and CPR training for our ride leaders and offer EDI training to our volunteers. This training will enable our volunteers to better serve our diverse community and respond sensitively to the changing needs and preferences of youth. Additionally, through the grant, we have access to Respect in Sport courses. Integrating this training into our volunteer onboarding process is incredibly valuable and complements our existing ride leader training.
With the Programming Support grant, we will launch an exciting new initiative to empower girls through cycling. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to expand our programming and continue positively impacting our community.
